All Over Again

His hair was gold like the sun in Carolina
His eyes were blue like the water on the coast
He was there earning money for the summer
And I was there cuz it was home

Every night he’d wait outside that little gift shop
I’d lock up and we’d head down to Tilly’s bar
Later on he’d walk me home along the boardwalk
And every morning I’d wake up in his arms

And if I’d only known that all I really ever was
Was just summer fling for a college boy back then
And he’d leave that fall and he’d never call
And I knew it was gonna end
Well you’re damn right boy I’d do it all over again

The way he kissed the way he touched me when he loved me
Pulled me in like moon pulls out the tide
No one else has ever made me feel so hungry
Or ever left me so completely satisfied

If I’d only known that all I really ever was…

Just to feel that passion like an ocean wave that’s crashin’
Even if it only lasted for a little while

And if I’d only known that all I really ever was
Was just summer fling for a college boy back then
And he’d leave that fall and he’d never call
And I knew it was gonna end
Well you’re damn right boy I’d do it all over again
Well you’re damn right boy I’d do it all over again
Well you’re damn right boy I’d do it all over again…
